Samsung revealed its Galaxy Z Fold 3 recently at a virtual Unpacked event on Wednesday, August 11. A unique device was partially a smartphone and partially a tablet. The second issue was of the debris being caught underneath the screen, hence causing bulges near the hinge. iFixit exclaimed that the device’s hinge had a little space and was susceptible to allowing particles to get underneath the screen and causing an unusual bulge.
Yonhap news later claimed that Samsung has addressed this issue and improved the hinge design by reducing the gap so that the debris can’t get in easily. The protective film is 80% more scratch-resistant.
